Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Astral ("the app", "we") handles your data. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

Who we are

What data we collect

• Name and date/time of birth that you provide:
  • While you use the free version (no account), it is saved only on your device (your browser's local storage).
  • When you subscribe or sign in by email, this data is also saved to your account on our servers (Google Firebase). This is needed to generate your reading on the right device and restore your access when you sign in again or switch phones — without it, you'd have to re-enter everything each time.
• Your email: used as the identifier for your account and membership, to send your access link (passwordless sign-in) and essential service communications. Saved to your account on our servers.
• Membership data: status (active/canceled) and your Stripe customer identifier, to unlock your access and allow cancellation.
• Anonymous usage data (optional): if analytics is enabled, we measure visits and events in aggregate. It does not identify you.
• Campaign parameters (UTM) from the URL, to understand which ad you arrived from.
• Payment: processed by Stripe. We do not store card data. We send Stripe only what's needed to create the charge (e.g., your email and first name). See Stripe's privacy policy.

How we use it

To generate your daily reading, maintain your account and restore your access on any device, process payment and the Deep Reading membership, deliver the content, measure app performance and improve the experience.

Where it's stored

Your account data (name, birth details, email and membership status) is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure. We keep this data for as long as your account exists; if you cancel and request deletion, we delete your account's profile data.

Sharing

We share data only with the processors needed to run the service: Stripe (payment and membership management), Google Firebase (hosting and account database), Resend (sending the access-link email) and, if enabled, the analytics tool. We do not sell your data.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data. Data stored on your device can be cleared at any time via "Change my details" or by clearing the site's data in your browser. To access, correct or delete your account data on our servers (profile, email and membership), contact contato@leituraastral.com.

Email reminders

If you turn on reminders, we store your email and send one message per day letting you know your reading is ready. This is based on your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time via the "Unsubscribe" link in the footer of every email, or by turning it off in the app. Sending is handled by Resend.

Minors

The app is not directed to anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top indicates the current version.
